As a core value at CASTO, we believe that “People are our most important asset!” and we stand by this statement every day.
One way we demonstrate this is through our wellness initiatives which focus on the associates’ health and well-being. Through our wellness program, we work to strengthen our associates’ health not only physically, but also financially, socially and mentally. CASTO offers a Wellness Incentive Program with several quarterly activities such as getting a flu shot, participating in a wellness challenge, donating blood, pledging to be nicotine free, taking a self-defense class paid for by CASTO, completing a physical or preventive exam and more!
Associates can attain three incentive levels throughout the year by completing three wellness activities each quarter. Rewards such as gift cards or extra PTO can be achieved in each level. We strive to introduce wellness activities that entice everyone to get involved, no matter their wellness focus. In addition to an annual steps challenge that encourages associates to get moving, we have conducted a “Common Cents” challenge with a focus on financial wellness and a “Stress Challenge” to help our associates tune into their mental health.
CASTO has been recognized as a Healthiest Employer of Central Ohio for the last 6 years (since 2013). The Healthiest Employer program recognizes organizations that are committed to creating a healthy workplace. CASTO has also been recognized as a Healthiest 100 Workplace in 2016 and 2017. To be eligible for the Healthiest 100 awards program, an organization must first participate in their region’s program. All organizations that placed in the top 25% in their region are eligible to apply.
