Senior Web Developer

Management Information Systems -- 250 Civic Center Drive

REPORTS TO:
Director, Information Technology

BASIC FUNCTION:
CASTO's Senior Web Developer capitalizes upon their creativity, skills, and experience to continually impact and improve our business. Your role is to learn the gamut of our business functions and quickly master existing systems and the technology behind them to enhance and extend these systems and then to develop new technology solutions. You must be task oriented and able to manage a multiplicity of work to assure that projects are completed in a timely manner.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop relationships and partner with departments and associates to determine opportunities for IT to help solve business needs
- Develop robust internal systems to integrate business processes, databases and communications, as well as integrating 3rd party products and solutions
- Develop public-facing interactive websites and mobile applications for marketing and promotional needs
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable structured code
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Work with other developers in a small, collaborative environment, and provide leadership and mentorship for that group

- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Strong understanding (7 plus years of experience) of:
- Front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- jQuery and the Bootstrap Framework
- WordPress Design and Administration
- Both procedural and object-oriented PHP programming
- Common PHP, database and/or web server security exploits and their solutions
- Accessibility and security compliance for sharing data with 3rd parties.
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- MS SQL and MySQL databases
- IIS Web Server configurations, virtual directories and permissions
- Code versioning tools, such as Git
- Google Analytics and other management tools
Proficient understanding of:
- Graphic design tools such as Photoshop/Illustrator a plus
Experience with:
- Agile software development a plus
- Office 365, OneDrive, and SharePoint development and management a plus
- MRI Real Estate Software or EMC ApplicationXtender a plus

Maintenance Technician (Residential)

Maintenance -- Central Ohio

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for ensuring that the apartment community looks its very best at all times and operates smoothly by performing a variety of tasks including: electrical, light carpentry, HVAC, and plumbing. Maintenance Technicians diagnose problems, determine whether to replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments until the problem is resolved. All work is to be completed in a timely manner, with true quality, and to the Property Manager's approval.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Perform "punch outs" and "turns".
2.Prioritize and complete work orders within 48-hours.
3.Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service.
4.Empty trash and run trash compactor.
5.Check light bulbs and change lights as necessary.
6.Change Locks.
7.Walk entire grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness (pick up trash, pool area, models, office).
8.Schedule and oversee that all vendor work is completed and meets CASTO expectations of timeliness and quality.
9.Seasonal tasks, including but not limited to: balancing pool chemicals and snow removal.
10.Clean and organize maintenance shop; order parts as needed.
11.Update and verify Unit Status Reports.
12.Update all logs daily (inventory, pool, snow) as needed.
13.Make monthly turn schedule.
14.All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
1.Knowledge of basic on-the-job safety skills
2.HVAC Certification, preferred
3.Two years of related experience, preferred
4.Valid driver's license
5.Must be highly motivated and able to work independently

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Answer telephones, check voicemails, and respond to emails
2. Reply to email leads within one hour goal time
3. Greet and show prospects, stand to greet all guests

5. During pool season, walk pool area to straighten chairs and check condition
