- Columbus, Ohio — Construction is currently underway for a new Bob Evans Restaurant at Town & Country Shopping Center in suburban Whitehall, Ohio. The new 5,227 square foot restaurant is projected to open in early 2003. According to Steven Friedman, Senior Leasing Representative for the Don M. Casto Organization, Bob Evans and the recently opened Taco Bell are ideally situated to serve the communities of Whitehall, Bexley and Eastmoor, as well as the several thousand employees of the adjacent Defense Supply Center. Town & Country was built in 1949, remodeled in 1975 and 1999, and expanded in 1987. It currently has over 50 tenants and its anchors include Big Bear, Drug Emporium, New York & Company, Mazel?s, and A.J. Wright. Only three vacancies remain at this 489,617 square foot center.
