Elia Athenian Grill Opens at Broad & High

Columbus, OH — CASTO, one of the country’s leading real estate organizations, introduced Elia Athenian Grill to its tenant line-up at cornerstone property, Broad & High, on February 6th.

“Elia Athenian Grill offers balanced meals, made with the purest ingredients, served at the speed of a fast food restaurant. That’s why we were attracted to downtown. We know that those who work downtown have a very small window for lunch, so to be able to serve them a fresh, healthy and balanced meal in a few minutes is our goal,” said Ilias Zervas, owner of Elia Athenian Grill.

Elia Athenian Grill offers a variety of authentic Greek menu items made with responsibly sourced, all natural meats. The signature item on the menu is a build-your-own style gyro or plate, where customers are given the option of different meats, sauces and accompaniments. The restaurant’s atmosphere and decor is a modern take on a traditional Greek kitchen.

“The addition of Elia Athenian Grill fills a necessary void for quality fast-casual and affordable food for downtown’s workforce. Ilias came to us with a strong reputation and track record of successful restaurants in Greece and has been mentored by his uncle, an owner of Tommy’s Diner in Franklinton,” said Sydney Federer, Leasing Director at CASTO.

“Being raised in Athens, Greece, we realized that Columbus was missing an authentic Greek fast casual restaurant, something that in Greece is on every corner. So we did it. We work hard to provide the best and purest ingredients; that’s why all of our proteins are natural without antibiotics, MSGs or preservatives and olive oil being our only choice of oil. We love what we do and we put all of our passion and strength into it. By doing so, we hope that when guests step into our restaurant at Broad & High, we can take them on a small flavorful trip to our homeland,” said Zervas.

Elia Athenian Grill is serving customers 11 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with plans of operating longer hours and on weekends in the future.
